Meeting Agenda (PDF)
The Ad Hoc Committee on a Civil, Safe and Open Environment will present its findings and recommendations at a public forum scheduled for March 19.
The forum will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in 355 C Holland Hall.
The purpose of the forum is to solicit public comment on the findings and recommendations before the committee finalizes its report and submits it to UF President Bernie Machen.
The committee was formed last year to review university police protocols, university and ACCENT events management practices, and community conduct policies to come up with a series of recommendations for the conduct and security of university events.
We welcome your input during this forum, and committee members are prepared to receive your comments individually as well. Please remember that all written comments are part of an open public process and therefore cannot legally remain private. We thank you for your help with this important assignment.
