Invitation Guidelines for all Events

Please do not use the president's or his wife's name on the invitation unless they have agreed to co-host the event.

If they have agreed to co-host, please use one of the following:

PRIOR to printing, please submit a fax or electronic copy of your invitation. It must be proofed and approved by the Director of Presidential Events one week prior to printing.

If a map is to be enclosed, please submit a copy of the map for proofing.

RSVP information is strongly encouraged.

Invitations requesting a response should mention special needs. (e.g., The favor of a reply is requested to [Department/Organization Name] at [phone] by [day, date]. If you have dietary or other special needs, please mention when responding).

Invitations should be mailed 4 weeks prior to the event.
